Vancouver Airport Fuel Facilities Corporation built a new fuel delivery system for Vancouver International Airport (YVR). The system includes a 400-meter-long transfer pipe connecting to the Marine Terminal and Fuel Receiving Facility (consisting of six storage tanks) on the South Arm of the Fraser River and a 13-kilometer-long delivery underground pipeline to YVR. The system met the fuel requirements of the airlines and airports for the foreseeable future. It has been constructed to a modern building, seismic, fire, and environmental codes to achieve the highest levels of safety and reliability.
SERVICES OFFERED:
- Developed and reviewed the operational readiness implementation strategy and plan.
- Developed the operational readiness schedules for key activities.
- Reviewed the track progress and update to the OR Schedules.
- Identified OR activities to ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation.
- Created and maintain the “Body of Evidence” document file for each department to support OR progress and achievements.
- Signed-off on the departmental OR schedules’ final implementation.
- Verified the effectiveness of the departmental OR progress and performance.
- Reviewed the focus area with FSM to identify the key activities relevant to the project needs and stage.
